Custom Order Policy

At Rugs at Maison, every rug is custom-made to order, ensuring a unique product tailored to each customer’s specifications. Due to the nature of custom work, all sales are final, and we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges unless the product has a clear manufacturing defect.


Creases or minor fiber shifts in rugs are a normal result of shipping and storage. These are not considered a defect and will naturally settle over time. To help the process, we recommend:

• Laying the rug flat in an open space.

• Reverse rolling it for a few hours.

• Using light steaming or placing weighted objects on the creased areas.

Since creasing is a temporary condition and does not affect the rug’s quality, it is not a valid reason for a refund or replacement.


If your rug arrives with a clear manufacturing defect (such as incorrect sizing, pattern issues, or structural damage), please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue. We will assess the claim and determine the best course of action.
